Technically, Raggity Rug Design began in 2009. And technically, Terry’s paternal grandfather bought his loom sometime around 1955. But rag rugs have been a family tradition for as long as Terry can remember.

If anything was beyond mending– from bed sheets to socks– they got a second life in rag rugs scattered throughout the family’s Midwest farm home.

Over time, the same rag rug would move from the entryway to the kitchen to the garage— always seeing a second, third, or fourth life throughout the home. Raggity Rug Design continues this family tradition with durable rugs that go and grow with you from one place to the next.
